Work in Progress - Siesta (third stage)

Well its about finished .... had to get out of my comfort zone and work fast as it must be delivered to the exhibition venue by Sunday. I hope that it is selected for entry as the Edinburgh Art Awards, Dunedin are getting to be quite a big event. The photograph has some glare showing around her midriff which does not show in 'real life' .... but you can get the general idea.

I am reasonably pleased with it as I have had to fight hard with my "photographic detail' side and push for a more loose and free approach. Trouble is that when you try a new style you feel particularly anxious about the painting's reception!
